Professor Duran (デュラン博士 Duran-hakase) is a scientist that works for the Jaicro Empire. He makes his debut in Season 2, Episode 12 for Dandy's court trial, then reappears in the final episode.
His name is possibly a reference to the English band "Duran Duran", who themselves take their name from the professor "Durand-Durand" from the movie "Barbarella", which is an erotic sci-fi comedy movie.
