Slow and Steady Wins the Race, Baby is the sixteenth episode of the Space Dandy anime.
Plot[]
Thanks to a nifty, handheld teleportation device, Dandy and Meow get mixed up with a fishy little alien whose planet is teetering on the brink of obliteration! The small alien sapiens fish is presented with the name of Baked or Boiled or Carpaccio. He reveals that he is a scratch and who a long time does their girlfriend planet that was drifting in space, he was captured by the domineering planet, becoming her satellite. Encouraged by the people of him to investigate the new planet, he left with a rocket to see if there could be life outside their world. Baked the day before departure, in the company of his girlfriend Yoko and his best mined friend, showed them the rocket with which he would start. Before leaving Baked and Yoko they promised that once they returned they would finally get married. During the flight there was a malfunction and Baked made an emergency attraction on overbearing. Having no way of leaving, he was stuck there, living for ten years, continuing to look for a way to return home. Dandy and Meow assuming that he is a rare alien not yet registered, they finally propose to help him on the planet. Baked reveals above all that having studied the planet for ten years, he discovered that every one thousand years the planet approaches tremendously to a sun ending up wrapped in flames. With the risk that even his girlfriend and the people of her would have been able to perish he must return as soon as possible to warn everyone of the impending danger and leave with them to save himself. Dandy and Meow having exhausted teleportation batteries can no longer return to their spaceship. Backed seeing the batteries reveals that they are identical to those of his planet, proposing to help them. Thanks to a motorboat that Baked has built with the remains of the rocket, the trio finally manages to trace the tornado of water that turns around the planet. Finally, with a leap they manage to be attracted by the gravity of girlfriend. Landed on the planet, Dandy and Meow find the dilapidated remains of what was once the place where the baked rocket had started, which in time hastened to warn the people of him who find themselves under the ground. Baked happily finds Yoko, revealing her discovery. Yoko shows no joy in seeing Baked, showing himself to what is cold and detached. Revealing that the priorities have now changed and the space no longer interests Nesusno. At that moment he arrives mined that with arrogance and vanity, he reveals to Baked with his enormous shock, which although for him ten years have passed on the overbearing planet, one hundred have passed on his girlfriend. At that moment Baked sees Yoko again to meet him. Meow using a graticola finally manages to recover it, but by now Baked is expert, ending up cooked in salt. At that moment the interior of the planet explodes. All the people of the fish are finally burned. Meow and Dandy reactivated the teleportation return to their spaceship. Not being able to bring a fried fish to the aliens registration center, they finally decide to eat baked for dinner. He will be brought back to life by Dandy at the end of the series after he rewinds time, and that things will most likely go differently.
